chris 1.in ch. 6-9 india opal and winn-dixie made frinds with the librarian,mrs.franny block,after she thought winn-dixie was a bear. Mrs.franny told opal and winn-dixie the story about the bear entering the libray years ago.Then India went to gertrudes pet's and met otis and got a job working in the pet store to earn enogh money to buy winn-dixie a leash and collar.then opal met sweetie pie thomas and was invited to her birthday party in september.
